MAITAINANCE TECHNICIAN AGA KHAN HEALTH SERVICE

POSITION: MAINTAINANCE TECHNICIAN

Reporting to the supervisor maintenance the mandate of the maintenance technician is to provide repair and maintenance service for all promoting electrical mechanical and plumbing and equipments and plants

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Ensure supply of utilities to the hospital through proper monitoring

·         Performs routine and maintenance on the generators , pumps, medical gases, water supply systems ATS and synchronizations and panels

·         Repair all small and large electrical mechanical equipment and machines in the hospital including generators, pumps and compressors washing machine and the kitchen equipment

·         Helps his supervisor in requesting equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining the inventory and ensuring availability of required items so as to complete the necessary installations repair

·         Helps his supervisor in timely ordering and receiving utilities such as fuel oxygen

·         Maintains department tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating conditions

QUALIFICATIONS

·         VETA Grade I in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronically;

·         Minimum 6 years working experience in services industry such as hospital or hotels

·         Able to work on multiple trade such as electrical and plumbing

·         Ability to work with diverse group and commitment to advancing work place

·         Employ problems solving and decision making abilities to resolve  challenges quickly and creatively through appropriate courses of actions

·         Customers centered strive to attain a continual standard of 100% internal and external customer satisfactions in all areas
